What is the best file format for submitting a document for printing?
The Portable Document Format (PDF) is generally the preferred file format for submitting a document for printing — since it works with virtually all professional printing and digital output devices. A PDF file incorporates the information needed to maintain document consistency from system to system. Most programs, such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Word can easily convert files to a PDF format.
How long will it take you to complete my order?
Every print job differs. Some take minutes others can take a couple days. We want to get you what you need as quickly as possible. It’s best to let us know when you need it by so that we can do our best to get it completed in the shortest amount of time while still having the best quality.
What is a bleed?
Bleed is required to ensure edge-to-edge color on your final product. Any background colors or images need to expand your final size by 1/8″ on all sides to allow for slight movement on the cutting machine.
Do I need to be present to place my order?
With the option of online printing, you never have to come in to place your order. Although we love seeing our customers, our online printing service makes placing your orders quick and efficient.

A proof is a way of ensuring that we have set your type accurately and that everything is positioned according to your requirements. We use extreme care in preparing materials for you. However, due to the many details associated with each order, it is important that you examine each proof carefully to ensure that we have designed everything correctly and to your liking.

Is white considered a printing color?
Typically white is not considered a printing color. It usually is recognized as the absence of any ink. However, if using colored paper, white ink may be used if any text or graphic requires it.
